In an attempt at finally landing the woman who caught my eye, I gave Attractive Lady and her friends some VIP passes to the club I bartend for.
She seemed excited enough, and I told her to come on Saturday.
My plan, if it works out, is that she'll come home with me (I live across the street from said club) and we could talk after I get off work and maybe she and I can hang out the next day because Sunday's my free day and whatnot.
Wow, that was a horrible run-on sentence.
I suppose it doesn't matter... I am just really psyched for this weekend! :D

Okay, so I had a really eventful night.

I gave my Attractive Lady a call and we were just talking about her trip and my having to catsit.
She said she'd drop off a key to the sandwich shop, which freaked me out because... why would someone trust anyone that quickly? I don't know, I was amazed.

All of a sudden, I blurted out that I could just pick the key up from her and save her time and a trip to the sandwich shop.

I mean, I know where she lives because I delivered food to her before, and it's not far at all on my bike, so it wasn't a big deal or anything, but wow, she accepted my offer!

So, I bike over there, which didn't take long. When she opened the door, she was wearing this robe and what appeared to be lingerie underneath... but I didn't want to seem like I was going to stare the entire time, so I just kept my eyes to the ground.
IT WAS HARD BECAUSE THE ROBE KEPT COMING UNDONE but luckily, she offered me a drink and everything was fine.

She gave me chocolate milk. A Yoo-Hoo. I think I am in love. ♥

I think I spilled some when I saw her robe come undone one time, but I don't think she noticed and now that I am rereading what I am writing, I think I am sounding like a big, nerdy pervert. :(

The little visit ended with her hugging me... a lot, and her robe coming undone again and me becoming disoriented at the sight and tripping over her rug.
That was profoundly embarrassing. I was really red and couldn't bring myself to look at her, but she kept on smiling. She has such a nice smile.
She hugged me and told me I was cute and I think I babbled something about her flight and then I sped off on my bike.

It was an awkward yet pleasant visit. I am glad I suggested it. :D

I am back in action.

I FEEL GRRRREEEEEEAT!!

It must have been the whiskey.

Jamie came over today.
And she brought whiskey. IT'LL MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER!

It honestly does. It makes you cough more, but it gets all the gunk out and makes you sleep soundly. If I had the energy, I would have mixed it myself, but everything my cuz gave me was decent enough.

I still feel like poo, but I feel much better. If I go to bed now, maybe I'll be much better in the morning! YAY.

PS. and I admit it. my Attractive Lady texted me up a storm this evening. It was sweet.

Why am I still sick?
Seriously, it is no fun at all.
I want to get out of bed and go out and be productive, and all I have is my laptop and a bed to lay in.
It feels like the movie Misery, minus a crazy, crazy lady.
Heck, I wish I could have someone over, but I don't want anyone getting sick because of me.
Oh, woe oh woe is me.

I woke up this morning and nearly threw up everywhere.
I don't know why, but I feel really hot and gross and nauseated.
Took my temperature and everything, and it was 102. :(

I didn't want to, I really really didn't, but I had to call Joe and ask him to cover my shifts for me, because I am in no condition to work.
Lucky for me, I never take vacations so I am on paid sick leave.

I have a wet cloth on my head and I'm still in my jammies, and I'm just laying around with a bucket by my bed... just in case. Ick.
I'll be able to lay around alot and watch TV, but I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. I really don't feel like moving around at all, but I feel as though I need to keep my mind occupied and something to that extent.

I am also sad because I wanted to flirt with Attractive Lady, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to do that any time soon.
I'm going to be bedridden for the forseeable future.

THIS SUCKS.

Just got off work, and I am tired!

It was okay. I made some decent money, but it doesn't really matter to me.
I didn't have my mind on work admittedly, I have my mind on... her.

I guess she didn't really think I was that boring, because she texted me!
It was cute and innocent at first, but then I mentioned something about my club clothes, and she was curious. I don't understand why.

I sent her a picture of me wearing my shirt and tie, and it turned into an exchange of pictures... and I got one of her in a nightgown.
A small, short red little nightgown and I saw a little more than I would have thought I could.

It was nice.
I was slightly aroused.

I went a bit risque and unbuttoned my shirt... but I was wearing my wifebeater.
Is that risque? I don't know, but I liked the picture. I think she did, too.

I need sleep for Easter family fun.

I gave her a call, but when she answered, I got a case of the nerves and hung up.
She called me back afterward, and she didn't recognize my voice after I answered (my phone almost went to voice mail before I picked it up), which was a little disheartening.
It was a really awkward conversation, and I just babbled like an idiot.
It didn't last more than five minutes.
I guess she thinks I'm boring as hell now, and probably won't be talking to me outside of work at all.
Oh well. I don't blame her.
Work soon.

So, I was busy closing up on my shift today, cleaning the counters innocently. Just your regular Friday, right?

It was a little past five, when Attractive Lady came in. I rarely see her after the lunch rush, so it obviously a pleasant surprise.
She shot the breeze with me, and I come to find out that she's going home next weekend. It's a pity she couldn't get to it this Easter weekend, but...

Long story short, I ended up gaining the opportunity to petsit for her four-day weekend, and SHE GAVE ME HER NUMBER.

I gave her a muffin.

I admit, I asked her why she gave it to me a week in advance and she said something along the lines of "call me anytime" or something or other. That was the general gist, anyway. OMG.

Crazyness aside, I know my pup will behave, I always take her to my friends' houses and she acts like an angel around cats, so I'm glad to know her kitty will be able to get along with Venus.

And I got Attractive Lady's number. Woo-hoo! :D

NOW I HAVE TO CALL HER. BECAUSE SHE ASKED ME TO. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY. I MEAN, I SEE HER EVERYDAY ANYWAY. OMG.

I have to go to work in three hours. :(

I guess I had a pretty vibrant dream last night.
It was simple, but pretty colorful and intense, as far as I can remember.

I was walking through a forest, trying to get to a destination, I kept walking because I had to get there as soon as possible.
It was like a movie in the sense that all the trees were silhouetted black and brown against the colors of the oncoming sunset, the sky a gigantic palette of oranges, ambers, and deep yellows.
It was evening, but it was warm.
I moved out from the trees, touching upon the firm bark and looked out in the distance. I was on a hill, looking down at a valley beneath the grass at my feet. I would reach the bottom soon.
I felt a hand on my shoulder, and then arms moving around me, a chin resting on my right shoulder, breath touching lightly against my skin.
I close my eyes at first at the touch, and with a deep breath, I look to the side.
The woman at my side did not disappear, she held me close, and I felt as though my destination could wait. Her touch was becoming more and more important, the focus of everything.

...she looked like a certain attractive lady I know.

Have to go to work at the club at seven tonight. It's going to be this BIG deal for you-know-what today. I had to work a shorter shift at the sandwich shop today to accomidate the huge chunk of time the club will take out of my day, but I suppose I will be compensated for it.

I finally have an online journal friend. Now you will know all my secrets. ;)

A few DND sessions ago, the gang was all into this Avatar show that's been around for a few years...

and now, I am hooked.

Aang is so cute and sweet and funny, but I like Katara the best because she takes action and isn't a complete cliche of a female lead. I like her fighting abilities and her personality, and the fact that she likes helping out and stuff.

After circulating burnt DVDs amongst the group, I have finally reached the third season. It's a pretty fascinating animated program, indeed. I like it!
